Our practice sessions are open to all levels and completely free for enrolled students. Drop-in fee applies for non-students.

Practice Session FAQ

Common questions about our weekly dance practice

No! One of the benefits of our practice sessions is that we rotate partners regularly. This helps you learn to dance with different people and improves your adaptability. However, you're welcome to come with a partner if you prefer.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement. Dance shoes are recommended but not required—clean, non-marking sneakers or shoes with smooth soles work well. Avoid shoes with black soles that might mark the dance floor.
Absolutely! Our practice sessions are designed for all levels, including complete beginners. It's a supportive environment where you can practice at your own pace, ask questions, and learn from others. We encourage beginners to attend and build confidence on the dance floor.
If you're already enrolled in our classes, you can just show up! For non-students, we recommend booking through our online system to guarantee your spot, especially for Friday sessions which can get busy. You can also pay at the door if space is available.
Yes! At least one instructor is always present during practice sessions to answer questions, provide guidance, and ensure everyone feels comfortable. However, practice sessions are not formal classes—they're student-led with instructor support.
